What service do fire extinguishers require?

Annual Maintenance: (Once a Year)

- Check Mechanical Parts

- Check Extinguishing Agent

- Check Expelling Means

Internal Maintenance: Every Six Years

Stored pressure dry chemical and dry powder extinguishers shall be fully discharged to check the operation of the discharge valve and pressure.

Hydrostatic Testing: Every Twelve Years

Extinguishers are pressure tested to a maximum of three times the service pressure. Visual Examinations of the exterior and internal are required prior to the test.
